Construction Begins on the New Windermere Village Shopping Center

The summer of 2017 for Windermere residents will be one they will never forget as construction will begin on the new Windermere Village shopping center. This 20 million dollar project will include one of a kind dining areas along with a new prototype grocer. The developers of the project shared that they are also in talks in bringing some medical offices, an urgent care center, a dentist, as well as several other boutique businesses.

The new shopping center along with the surrounding area is projected to have similar look and ambiance as the infamous Park Avenue in Winter Park. One of the main highlight areas will be 3 one-story buildings totaling 50,000-square feet with outdoor seating and a large central park with a covered pavilion.

Residents of Windermere will soon be able to enjoy the new restaurants that will be coming to the area including a pizza shop, Mexican-inspired location, and one of a kind ice cream store. More news will surface as more tenants confirm they will be joining the new Windermere Village shopping center, but the builders have expressed they are looking for high-end restaurants as well as salons, spa and national and local chains.
